In this latest colorway in this modern era of the low-top original, Jordan Brand re-captures the time-less “Black Toe” look and pairs it with one of the most striking colorways of the Air Jordan fabric — Dark Powder Blue. Commonly associated with Jordan’s time at UNC, this upcoming release keeps it close to the vest when it comes to the origins of Jordan’s greatness. It was, after all, North Carolina where MJ won his first meaningful title. At the fore-foot of this release is the classic white and black composition, with the Dark Powder Blue taking over the heel, outsole, and tongue label; while these are likely to be extremely popular among Jordan fans, it does give us a taste of what a UNC High-top would look like.
